Biography

Stephanie Hargrave, Ph.D.

• Stephanie Hargrave is currently the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment and Chair of the Institutional Research Board at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. She was the founding Director for the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment at Friends and have been there three years. Previously to Friends, Stephanie was a faculty member in Psychology and Evaluator of the Academic offerings for the online course and program offerings at Sterling College. Her main research areas include issues of disability, including work on enhancing opportunities for persons with disabilities in the workplace and helping high school students with learning disabilities make decisions regarding work and education after high school, as well as research on course evaluation processes, and critical thinking related to prejudicial activities and judgments. Stephanie holds a PhD from Wichita State University in Community Psychology with a specialization in Research Methodology and Statistics, and two Masters Degrees from Wichita State, one in General Psychology and one in Liberal Studies. She resides in Wichita with my husband and two daughters, aged 11 and 14.
