MidAIR Fall Conference
Proposal Guidelines

  • All proposals MUST be submitted on-line.

  • All presenters MUST register for the conference.

  • Go to the On-line Proposal Submission site.

  • Log-in under "New Log In."  You will need to enter your email address and select a password that you will remember.  Click "New User."  If you forget your password, you can retrieve it by clicking "Forgot Password."  The password will be sent to the e-mail address you originally provided.

  • If you are a current MidAIR member, the system will populate the submitter information screen with your personal information.  You may update this information.  If the system doesn't populate the fields, simply type the information requested.

  • The system will require you to provide a short abstract (100 words or less) as well as a detailed proposal. For more information on the proposal content, please see conference session types.

  • The detailed proposal should NOT be more than 3 pages and should be in MS Word or Adobe PDF formats.

  • The on-line submission process provides an opportunity to indicate equipment needs for presentations.  MidAIR may not be able to accommodate all requests.  Further, MidAIR may not consider requests submitted after a proposal is locked.

  • Note that if an LCD projector is requested, presenters must bring their own laptop for the presentation.

  • If you need to stop in the middle of submitting your proposal, simply log back in and you will be provided with a list of all the proposals you have started and/or locked.

  • If proposal editing is requested by the submitter or required by the MidAIR Board, the proposal will not be considered until it has been locked again.

  • Proposals will be reviewed by the Program Planning Committee.  This will NOT be a blind review.

  • All proposals must be "locked" for review by 11:59 pm CST on the date of the deadline.
